长期从事无机非金属材料的制备及应用研究,尤其致力于纳米材料合成与应用、窑具材料、氧化物非氧化物复合材料及高温结构陶瓷材料的研究。近年来在“Science and Engineering of Composite Materials”,“Materials Research Innovations”,“Advanced materials Research”、“硅酸盐学报”、“人工晶体学报”、“耐火材料”、“金刚石与磨料磨具工程”、“非金属矿”等国内外知名刊物上发表学术论文50余篇,其中SCI收录8篇,EI收录15篇;获得授权中国发明专利4项;科研成果获河南省科技进步二等奖。主持、参与完成国家自然科学基金3项、科技部国际科技合作项目1项、省重大科技攻关项目2项、省自然科学基金项目3项及省教育厅、郑州市、企业委托等科研项目多项。指导及协助指导硕士研究生12名,博士生1名。
